To tell you the truth I was very angered and disappointed with my 4 hour appointment. I had spoken with a few people that had been very pleased with Dr Hernan and his expertise and time he spends with patients. I did not have that experience. I waited about 3 1/2 hours and saw him for maybe 5 minutes before I was taken to another room for another machine test. I was told that I would be brought back to talk to him. Well, it was Friday about 4:45 , so instead of getting to talk to him and ask questions, due to the fact that this was my first appointment with him, I was told I was done and to check out. I got quite irritated and said I had not discussed my glaucoma, meds, or today don’t even know what my eye pressure is. I was finally taken to another room where a technician came in to explain that Dr Hernan had recommended laxer treatment on my cataract implants , which I didn’t even understand he said that. The office called a few days later to schedule laxer procedures. This has left an unpleasant impression for my first visit. 4 hours is uncalled for and other patients have spend that much time also. The staff was was very pleasant and professional.
