The doctor was great (which I guess is what matters!) but the guy checking me out at the end of my appointment complained that his computer was acting "retarded" because it was slow. My son has autism and I have a good friend whose daughter has Down's Syndrome and, well, you just don't use the "R" word anymore. I was very offended to hear someone say that in a professional situation. He was well dressed and seemed polished at first but hearing him say that really upset me. I regret that I didn't immediately tell him that he should not use such language. He was new. The usual staff are professional and helpful. Then, he said he'd get my contacts sent to me overnight. They didn't arrive. I called the office to inquire and another person said they were on backorder. She apologized, canceled that order, and ordered me a new supply from a different provider who did have them in stock. She assured me they'd arrive the next day. But had I not called to check, I'm not sure when they would have arrived.
