Took 40 minutes for a 5 minute check up. Receptionists had no idea what they were doing

Visual Eyes replied:

We appreciate your feedback. I want to apologize to you for having to wait forty minutes for your appointment. That is not our policy to keep any patient waiting. We have addressed the situation and are working on making sure our patients do not have to wait. We have been in the process of training new front office staff and making sure they are educated and well trained.

The examination experience was pleasant and well-done. I went to Visual Eyes for a glasses prescription and a pair of glasses. I had purchased a groupon (kind of) that gave me a free examination and $225 to spend on glasses. My biggest complaint (and this is by no means exclusive to Visual Eyes) is that there is no way to know how much their frames cost. Their website has information regarding frame designers only, but no information on the styles or costs. Come to find out, a pair that I wanted was over $700. This pair can also be found online for $250. I can certainly understand a slight price markup for in-store service; but a $450 markup? What's more is the frame prices are not on the glasses in the store. You must find several pairs and then ask for price checks for each individually. I suggest that prices be posted online and in the store, so customers can know the type of frame that fits their price point.

Visual Eyes replied:

I appreciate your feedback. We do offer frames ranging from $69.00 up to $700.00. I would be more than glad to help you find a frame that is more in the price range you are looking for. We do put the prices of the frames on them they are just placed on the temple so when you try them on they are not in your field of vision. I will make the suggestion to our corporate office regarding prices online. Thank you for your feedback! We look forward to seeing you again.
