The staff were all very friendly and polite to me. They all worked very hard to make me feel comfortable. However, the dentist looked rather unkempt and like he could use a shower and a haircut. He actually matched the office itself. Needs a fresh paint job and carpet maybe. It felt dirty to me.
After I waited over 2 hours for him to get to me, I was actually relieved he didn't put his hands in my mouth. He looked at my X-rays and pictures and quickly dismissed me to some oral surgeon way out in Jacksonville. For the record, I'll never make it there. I'm lost in Jacksonville.
When I finally found a dentist that would accept my share of cost Medicaid insurance, I was soooo happy and relieved, but that was short lived once I arrived for the appointment.
I understand being a lowly Medicaid patient that I'm only entitled to my teeth being pulled out rather than fixed, but I have some pride or vanity still and I can't just allow my mouth to go without many more teeth. I wish there was a dentist out there willing to help us poor folks KEEP our teeth.
