We are very happy with the dental care at Warwick Animal Hospital ! Our dog is doing great after having 6 teeth pull . We've been taking our pets there for 20 years and always had very caring vet care.

We are on vacation and took our Australian Shepherd here because she had atomach issues from eating part of a toy. The staff and doctor were efficient, courteous, kind, and wonderful to our Aussie. Great place and we highly recommend it. Thank you so much.

I really like Dr. Castro and the techs, though I'd rather have stayed home.

I hope my bloodwork turns out okay. Getting old is tough, but I'm glad I get good care.

Well, that's about it...going back to sleep.

Dakota has been with us now for less than a year. She was rehomed to us in July, at 5 months old from an abusive start in life. Initially we took her to CAWS in West Warwick for her vaccinations and spay. We wanted to switch to a place a little closer to us.

Dakota was with us for just about a month when I started to notice reactive behaviors in her. She was growling at me and reacting out of fear towards dogs and children other than mine. I made my initial appointment with you guys to talk about her behavior. The vet that we got at the time was reluctant to listen to my concerns and thoughts of medicating her to take away some of the anxiety of her new home life, while we built a trust with her. He even went as far as to suggest a place where we could drop her off. Needless to say I was a bit insulted.

We went through training with her, and she has built a trust in us. We have scaled back the medication that we give to her daily, to as needed. When we made our last appointment for a check up, the new vet and vet tech were wonderful with Dakota. They appreciated her for the sweet, crazy dog that she is.

Even though we still have reactive problems with other dogs, the staff is very understanding to her needs, allowing us to wait in the car, until the coast is clear and a room is ready for her. Just yesterday we had to bring Dakota in for an emergency visit. The vet that saw us was patient with her, and Dakota trusted her right off the bat. Tail was wagging, she never barked once, was giving her kisses throughout the exam and at one point even laid down and allowed the vet to rub her belly.

When they took Dakota from me to a back room, the woman that took her could see the anxiety in my face, and assured me that she was in good hands. And that she was. A little while later they brought Dakota back to me, on the mend. Answered every question I had about recovery, wound care, and medications. I never felt like there were other pets and families waiting for them.

Thank you for taking such good care of our fur baby!
