This business of staying in your car and not being able to be with your pets is extremely frustrating. I can't really connect with the staff that way.
On another note....while I was waiting in my car a golden (or possibly a lab) was let out the back door to relieve itself and the gate was wide open. The dog went into the yard so I got out to shut the gate and immediately the dog came over. Shortly the attendant let the animal back inside. If that had been my dog I would have been quite an unhappy camper!!

Thank you for reaching out with concerns regarding the safety of animals in the care of West Shore Animal Clinic. As was explained to you by a technician yesterday, the Golden Retriever you observed in our yard was my own personal dog, Olive, who has been coming to the clinic daily since she was 8 weeks old (well over 6 years now). She has been thoroughly trained off-leash with emphasis on recall commands and remaining within the confines of our backyard, even if the gate is open. Her approaching you when you went to shut the gate was most consistent with a friendly greeting since she is lovingly known as one of our clinicâÂÂs emotional support animals. As you may know, it is the protocol of our clinic to not allow any of our clientsâ pets in, or out, of the building unless properly restrained, which includes either a carrier or leash. In the future, if you have any questions or concerns about any of our protocols, or what you are perceiving, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to a staff member.

TOP NOTCH! My senior Beagle had a honking cough on a Saturday morning. Naomi squeezed me in that morning for a thorough exam, I was rest assured with medicine for my baby. I can't thank you enough for accommodating us on a busy Saturday .
