Another mechanic shop referred me to West Coast Tire & Service and Tim was my Service Consultant. Tim was patient in explaining how the mechanics of my clutch worked and even coached me through the conversations I would have with my insurance company. After I left the shop, I called Tim with follow-up questions and he was always ready to talk. I felt sincerity in everything he said, almost as if he was servicing his own car.
What impressed me most was that he even recommended a lower cost option. But given his honesty and my desire to keep the car longer, I opted for the more expensive option. Tim worked hard to give me a competitive price that made me feel great about the deal.
It was a complete pleasure working with Tim, who ranks in the upper echelon of service I have received anywhere, even outside of auto. Although I hope my car will not need anymore servicing or repairs, if it does I will come to Tim first and will recommend him to all my friends.

For the second time in a row, West Coast did not deliver upon its promise. The first was a window repair. The second was a $150 detail job. Joe said if I brought my car in by 9 am, it would be done by noon so I could get to a 1 pm meeting in North Hollywood. I called at noon, and they said they needed 45 more minutes. Joe was at lunch and not taking care of my car at all. Tom said he pulled the detailer off my car for a tire job. They did not care about my needs at all, and I have to take my car back in (wasting my own time) to finish the job.

We have used West Coast on Pontius for years now. The service is fast, well performed and professional. The entire staff from service consultants to mechanics really put themselves out to make the process as efficient and performance geared as possible. They have never pushed unnecessary work, are very honest in their assessments, offer multiple alternatives when applicable, perform great work and always stand by their service. And their prices are very market competitive. We have recommended them to family and friends who are also happy return customers. This past visit Joe Manzanares was our service consultant--Joe was thorough, patient and spearheaded the process through even though it was a particularly busy Monday. He had a great attitude and could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable and helpful. And in the past, we have found all the representatives also extremely helpful, accommodating and informed. We recommend West Coast without reservation.

He is very thorough in his exams and answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. He doesn't make you feel rushed and treats you with the utmost respect. His staff members are just fabulous!! They too are professionally, friendly and answered all of my questions regarding my benefits and coverages.
