My experience was not what I have expected. Growing up I have always experienced having to go through a lot of pain while receiving dental work. So ads an adult I have always had a fear of going to the dentist. But from my first visit here at West Oahu Dental Center, I felt safe and comfortable that I could trust that everyone here would make my experience with the dental work that I was about to receive would be as painless as possible. Also, assisting me with the financial responsibility and how I could make this possible utilizing all of the resources that are available to me, had lifted all of the stress I have been carrying upon myself for so many years. Thank you Dr. Genny and all of you at West Oahu Dental.

I have been coming to this dental office for 10 years. Todays experience was the final straw! My brother was murdered Oct 29 2021 and it has been extremely difficult for my family and I. I managed to keep our scheduled appointment in the beginning of Nov despite what I was going through but it has been hard having to plan my brothers funeral with my mom. We also have been meeting with prosecuting attorneys & investigators, all while working and going to school full time! Today Dr Alcantra told me I should have come sooner because my sons tooth got worse btw he never complained about it once and she wanted to fix it before it got worse. Understandable but I responded I know, we have been really busy and her response was this was from last year November I bit my tongue because I know she had no idea what my family has been going through! But as we checked out and AFTER i paid, her husband who is normally the pleasant one told me you need to make sure your kids brush better I said what? And he said my son is starting to get two cavities. I know cavities are not good but to have them try to belittle me as a mother is absolutely unacceptable especially because I think I have done considerably well for what I am going through! Not returning ever! Going to look for a new dental office! I dont need this BS! I’m already dealing with more than they could ever imagine!!!!!!!

Wonderful experience. My Mom was a little hesitant at first but after the first visit she was very happy with her care and the services she received. The staff, dental assistant and Dr Alcanyra were awesome, made her feel comfortable and reassured her during the extractions. We are glad we chose West Oahu Dental.
