About
Our goal is to create a warm and friendly atmosphere that welcomes your child into our practice. We invite parents to join their children into the treatment area. We use child friendly words such as Mr.Thirsty, tooth tickle brush and tooth counter to describe our instruments. Please don't use words such as "shot" or "needle" since this may cause unnecessary fear and anxiety. The dentist and staff uses the "Tell-Show-Do" approach, where the child is told what will be done and then shown what will happen(on the patient or parents hand or with the use of a puppet). This is done before the start of the procedure.
We strive to make the first visit a happy experience. We want to promote optimal dental health for years to come.
