We are pleased to welcome you to our office. We are a bilingual office (Spanish by request) and offer a full range of services including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens exams/consults, computer vision care, and cataract/glaucoma evaluations. We pride ourselves in offering the latest technology to our patients including corneal topography (corneal mapping) and the Visioffice. The Visioffice is used to digitally design custom progressive lenses for each individual patient. A custom design leads to better adaptation and clearer vision for both first time progressive bifocal wearers and existing wearers as well. For more information please visit www.essilorvisioffice.com. As part of your yearly eye exam we always include the Optomap Retinal Scan. The Optomap is a specialized diagnostic test that replaces routine dilation in most cases and can detect the early stages of many types of disease. Early detection is the key for long term management of many ocular diseases and good overall health. For those who work on computers, we offer the latest in computer vision testing and specialty computer lenses that maximize your overall comfort and vision when using a computer. Dr. Hum was the first doctor in Northern Nevada to become certified for Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT). CRT is a non-surgical procedure that can reshape your cornea while you sleep at night, allowing you to have clear vision during the day without glasses or contact lenses.
