I'll start off by saying our pups get attentive care when we bring them in, and for the most part the staff is very friendly and accommodating. However, the visits are very expensive and seem to be getting more expensive each time. Compounding this is the pressure we feel to get additional services and products for our dogs, leaving us feel like we are being nickeled and dimed, along with a sense of guilt if we choose not to do it. We love our pets like they are our children and want to do everything we can for them, but the escalating cost of care is getting ridiculous- I never would have dreamed a day would come when people could get "pet insurance" or essentially take out a loan (Care Credit) to cover the cost of what I consider to be "wellness" visits (i.e., not even including major things like sickness, surgery, etc.). It's very discouraging to say the least.
Dear Ms. Wooten,
Thank you for the review. I do understand that some things today can get expensive but remember that your bill included boarding, pet products and pet annual care. If we split the bill into the categories that we would normally go to as humans, such a hotel, a drug store and to the doctor , there would be three bills. We do survey other outstanding and caring animal clinics and I prices are in line with the what they charge. Again, though, I appreciate the review and will work towards how we can better communicate what our clients want and need. We love your pets and appreciate you letting us take care of them.
Please call me if you would like to speak with me further.
