It was my cat first time being boarded, so I knew he would not like it, and I am pretty sure the staff did everything they could to make he stay as comfortable as possible. But my pet was traumaize and was not himself until 4 days later. I went with Windcrest because I was told that they were the best, and that may be, I do thing the cats should not have to pass the dog area to get to the cat area, I think both animals should have their own separate entrances. I think the cats should have a more soothing area instead of a glass window where they can feel the wind breezes and birds chirping , maybe some relaxing music and fun toys you could add to the package and take home after the pet stay or disposable so it would not be share with other pets. to sum it all up the facility was good the staff was good and yes I would take my cat again, but if my opinion if it matter they could use a few upgrades

The staff was really great, very thorough, gave us a lot of information, caring people, kept us well informed and good discharge instructions. Despite being in a pet emergency, it was an excellent experience.

My dog needed a vaccination so a tech visit was appropriate rather than a vet appointment.I called ahead as advised and was told I could come I right away. I live only a mile away but when I got there 10 minutes later, several other people had come in and I had to wait 25 minutes. I understand that tech visits are not by appointment but maybe they should be. Or maybe more techs need to be able to be called when a number of people come in and are waiting. I don't think anyone should have to wait more than 10-15 minutes. The tech was pleasant and did a good job so I am not being critical of the treatment. I do think the process of being seen by a tech should be improved. The week prior to this I brought my dog for grooming and asked that the same vaccine be given by a tech while she was there but it was not completed in a timely manner . Since I did not want my dog in a cage waiting for an undetermined time I left with her and thus the need to return for the vaccine. So that's 2 times in 2 weeks that timing was problematic.
