We've been going to Dr. I for years. She took care of our last dog. Just got a puppy and took her in for her vet check.

My German Shepherd has anxiety and my experiences visiting the vet were never pleasant until I found Wooded Acres. They are friendly, caring and patient when it comes to Gracies visits! They make it easier for me because they are so understanding and accommodating to her needs. I never leave without answers to any issues she is having and their prices are so reasonable.

Went for my cat, they fit him in quickly. Very nice experience.

This was my puppy’s first vet appt since bringing her home. I would have liked to put a face to the vet that took care of her and be there to comfort her. It was very disappointing to know I had to sit in the car while they took her away scared and shaking. I think it is overkill to not let people in because of Covid. I had so many questions and the poor tech had to stand out in the cold and answer all my questions. You can have the owner just stay in a chair on the other side of the room and wear masks. Just very impersonal for a first visit. I know they mentioned ahead of time that we have to call from the lot before they take her in but I assumed I was going in with her. They do the same thing at the pediatrician offices. I will say I didn’t leave because my friend convinced me that the staff are all so nice and great with the animals. When I met the tech out at my car I felt reassured. She did just fine and came out happy but it definitely was not the experience of a first visit that I expected. These animals are like our children and I can’t imagine leaving my child alone at a pediatrician office. Hope they reconsider this way of doing things.

I am very pleased with the recent visit to wooded acres animal hospital. I brought my 8 year-old pittie mix, Holly to this veterinarian because my regular veterinarian has Covid. And my son brings his dog to this animal hospital. I suspected that she had an ear infection and something going on with her back paw. She was diagnosed with a double ear infection and a dermatitis on her paw. The veterinarian prescribed hydrocortisone ear drops, oral antibiotics & oral prednisone. All this, while Holly was picked up from my car in the parking lot. I did not go into the building as per their Covid protocol, which made me feel very safe. It was only a 15 to 20 minute wait. I did have an 8:40 AM appointment. And I called for the appointment the afternoon before. The whole bill was $210, which included all the medications, the visit and the door to door service. I am thinking of switching over from my regular veterinarian to this one.
