Yesterday, I left almost in tears because of how my face looked. It looked puffy, red and swollen because of the extractions she did on my skin. But today, it’s glowing because of the HydraFacial. It cost $145.
I’m giving it a 2 stars because the lady that worked on me wasn’t knowledgeable on skin at all. She kept telling me the products that I’m using had additives that will break me out and how their expensive skin care line doesn’t have additives that will cause me to break out. She doesn’t even know what kind of skin care products I even use. She just told me what I’m using on my skin is wrong. What I’ve been using on my skin has been natural and has helped me more than anything else I’ve tried. She told me that their skin care line is so expensive because it’s so powerful. She also told me that she wouldn’t recommend any drug store moisturizer because they will all break me out.
So I did some research on the EXPENSIVE skin care line they tried to sell me. It had cetyl alcohol, fragrance & sodium Laureth sulfate which is mildly comedogenic. It also has isopropyl palmitate which is highly comedogenic. Along with other harmful ingredients. My personal skin care products don’t have additives, THEIR EXPENSIVE skin care line has additives. Please be knowledgeable about the things you put on your face. These ingredients can get into your blood stream and effect you negatively. They’re just trying to pay the bills. They don’t really care how your skin is.
The whole time I was doing the facial she was trying to sell me those products. I asked how much it cost and she said $160 for something I can get for free from my health care provider. The cheapest product was $50 for a small bottle. I told her that’s way too expensive. She then asked me what my budget was. No ma’am. The HydraFacial was $145 & that’s my exact budget.
I also asked her about the percentages of the products she was using on my skin and she didn’t know the answer. She couldn’t answer my questions at all. I should’ve never let someone with little/no experience touch my face.
