I love Y2. I love the instructors at Y2. I do miss how the old basics class seemed to be more of a workshop style. I brought my husband to a few classes. He was obviously struggling and way out of alignment; there we no assists for him. A few days later, he threw his back out. Not cool. Assist the newbies!!! Make them want to come back!

I love y2! I have really enjoyed starting up hot yoga and there is no pressure to be some super-star that can do everything perfectly.

Instructors are great but studio is way too small for the amount of people you let in . I realize you are moving to a larger location but you must limit the amount of people you let in. It's beyond ridiculous

Unorganized, cramped, and less than relaxing. I did not appreciate the "praise the lord" song playing during the session. Also, the instructor did a poor job explaining the moves, she was more concerned with demonstrating her vocabulary and knowledge.

I've been going to y2 for the past few years and have been a huge fan up until the changes that have been taken place in the last few months. I Took a friend, a yoga newbie, to check out a lsd class which I'm pretty sure made us both never want to return. It consisted of the front desk receptionist spending 10 min not having any idea how to check in a new student and the sub teacher leading a class with a religious background song (I thought yoga was meant to be spiritual), not explaining any of the stretches to a class that was clearly mostly filled with new students, and using poses that seemed as if she had made up (most were not yoga related). It was even more of a disappointment that the prices have gone up for a less joyful experience. I am sad to have to find a new yoga studio :(

I've never had a bad yoga experience at Y2. I love how the instructors guide you, but they reiterate to go at your own pace and listen to your body. It is such a welcoming/inviting experience, and I'm lucky the studio is so close to home for me!

Y2 is a great studio with a variety of teaching techniques and reasonable prices. However, it is a bit crowded until they open the new studio next door.

The pros: the instructor was good. Would give moderations for poses. Being it was my first class after recovering from a health problem, it felt good to be back in a yoga studio. I really loved the cool lavender towels at the end of class. The cons: I am sure once the new studio is completed, many of these problems will be resolved so take my comments with a grain of salt. However, the space outside the studio is very small and cramped. It was hard to get in and out of class working around people. The studio itself had too many people in it. Yoga mats were one on top of the other. I took a hot yoga class, got there 15 minutes early, but I had to take a spot right in front of the main wall heater. It was much too hot when heater was directly blowing on me the entire class. I did not enjoy this. I like hot yoga, but the heat wasn't properly dispersed. I will try this studio again when the new space opens up,

I love this place. The only issue I have is with how crowded the space and classes are.

I had a wonderful experience at Y2! My teacher Melissa Hickok was knowledgeable and invested in everyone getting the most out of the class. I intend to join up!
