About
San Francisco yoga studio founded in December of 2008, yoga mayu is known for being a down to earth yoga studio in San Francisco. yoga mayu is predominantly a progressive Vinyasa yoga studio, drawing its influences from Ashtanga and Hatha traditions. Our mission is to provide a genuine and sustainable yoga practice that evolves the physical and emotional health of our students. At yoga mayu we strive to provide a safe inviting environment where students can develop a regular yoga practice. We offer some of the most talented yoga teachers in San Francisco; they are passionate about teaching and are always willing to take that extra step to ensure that no student feels left behind. We are proud to be known for the individual attention we provide. We believe that yoga is truly for everyone regardless of age and body type.

Yoga Mayu is the nicest, cleanest yoga studio I've ever practiced at, and all the teachers are fantastic. I always know I'll get a thorough, vigorous, satisfying class there, no matter which one I take. I usually practice there 3-4 times per week; getting a 20-class pass or 24-class special makes this affordable. Many thanks to Gizella, the owner, for opening and maintaining such a beautiful studio.
