Our practice is based on the belief that everyone deserves quality dental care that is affordable. Over the last 16 years, we developed a three pronged approach to achieve this goal. First, our team of dedicated dentists and supporting staff work together to provide the highest quality dental care for our patients. Second, our in-house specialists (orthodontist, endodontist, oral surgeon,and periodontist), ensure that even the most complicated treatments are carried out seamlessly, with the highest standard of care. Finally, our flexible payment options ensure our dental care is affordable to our patients, whether they have insurance or not.

The staff at this office are just plain happy people! Trish did my cleaning, with her great personality I was totally relaxed, once again. It’s great to come to a dental office where you are greeted with smiles and you feel at home. I actually look forward to my appointments - to hear light laughter and friendly chat. I went to Dr. Zak's for a mild discomfort in my mouth. I was told:
1. I had nerve damage and probably needed a root canal and cap. This even though they could find nothing with their exam.
2. I ground my teeth
3. I had four cavities that needed filling.
4. The standard cleaning was very poor. Typically a good cleaning takes 45-60 minutes. I was out in less than 20.
Estimated out of pocket to me after insurance was about $1200 dollars
I am blessed with good teeth, so I was skeptical of the diagnosis. I went to another dentist. I was told:
1. I had one cavity
2. I needed a cap, but no root canal. And this was on the other side of my mouth. He showed me x-rays of how this tooth had deteriorated because of a large filling.
3. I had the new dentist do a cleaning. It took about 45 minutes. I could tell they were getting plaque during the cleaning process, confirming my suspicions that the cleaning I received at Dr. Zak's was sub-standard.
Estimated out of pocket to me after insurance was about $400 dollars.
Additionally, Dr. Zak didn't cancel an appointment when I had called and cancelled. They said they would get back to me with estimated costs, and didn't. I had to call them and remind them.
I strongly encourage you to stay away! From my experience, I believe they have dishonest business practices.

I am totally pleased with the care but have two suggestion: each staff member should introduce themselves and the aftercare instructions are buried in the mountains of signed releases. Please pull out the simple instructions for patients and give them to them after dental surgery.

These guys were incredible! I've had a problem for a year or more with the rear AC in my 2006 Sienna van. After spending hundreds of dollars to no avail at the dealer and other shops I had decided it couldn't be fixed, but as I was checking it into Aamco for scheduled maintenance, they asked if there was anything else they could look at. I told them about the AC and the problems others had diagnosing it. They asked if I wanted them to spend an hour checking it limiting the cost to $120, and I told them give it a shot. The next day they called and said they had found a number of anomalies with the way it was hooked up, they didn't have it working yet but would like to spend two more hours trying. Since it seemed that someone was at last making some sort of progress I gave them the go ahead. Next day they called again and said they had found and corrected more strange things about it, but it still wasn't working. I told them well good try just go ahead and do the maintenance. Their next call said the maintenance was done, and they had found and repaired more oddities with the AC (with some speculation that previous repair attempts may be responsible) and they would like to keep the van and try a few more things, I told them I was through paying for attempts, but they were adamant about not giving up. Finally they found the root problem, and needed a part that was a couple thousand dollars from the dealer to make it work. I told them thanks for the attempt but I was done. Next they called back and said they had found the part refurbished for a third of the dealer price and quoted me $1600 all in to get it repaired. I told them I would pay the sixteen hundred if they got it running, but only $360 if they failed. Apparently failure is not an option for these guys, they kept the van another week. The part they had found was for a different series sienna but they found another, also wrong, then one or two more before finally driving across the county to check the compatibility and securing the right part. They installed it and finally success, the rear AC was working again! The final part was more than the one their estimate was based on but they stuck to the $1600 bid and warranted the job parts and labor for twelve moths/twelve thousand miles, even though the refurbisher only warrantied the part for ninety days. Well, what can I say? I mean the story speaks for itself, you decide if these are the kind of people you want working on your vehicles. I know where I'm going for my vehicle maintenance from now on.Read More …
