Dr. Hixson is a great doctor. He takes his time and doesn't rush you through the exam

It’s alwaus very fast here. I can get in and out quick. They have toys for children which makes it easy for little ones. And most of all the doctor is awesome!

The only issue I was very frustrated about was, I had multiple tests run for my annual exam. The last test was a new machine and I was asked to take one more test from that machine. After completion they asked me to go back to the exam room and wait for Dr. Hixson. After a long wait, he never came back in and I could hear him talking. I walked back to the front of the office and the other Dr. and reception were asking me what I needed. I said, well I was told to go back to the exam room and Dr. Hixson was going to review again my results. Oh well, I just asked if he could call me instead and they had a confused look on their faces why I was asked to wait again. They were both very nice and apologized for the messup, but waiting when the Dr. doesn't know you are there is not good when you have back problems, etc. Love Dr. Hixson and Audrey and just hope some of the staff is more aware of what the patients are doing and where the Dr. is. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

I was seen promptly on my appointment and the person setting up the machines for testing explained what she was going to do. Dr. Hixson explained thoroughly how my eyes fared during testing and made the adjustments necessary while explaining it to me. We also checked my vessels to see if there was any damage due to my diabetes, and explained that I was doing well, and also showed how bad it could be to remind me to keep up with a proper diet to prevent it from getting worse.

The only problem was how cold it was in the office, however it was an especially cold morning.
