I have been coming to Samsara for many years. My daughter Ashley used to work at Samsara. Alex was my hair stylist. I showed Alex the color and highlights that I wanted. The red highlights were ok but the color was too dark once I saw what color it was. Prior to Alex cutting and drying my hair, during the coloring, the hair color was dripping all over the place. While waiting for my color to set, it was still dripping. I let the shampoo girl and Alex know that my hair was dripping and getting over everything. They laughed and said, "well, it is time to rinse it". The shampoo and massage were wonderful but she did not get all of the color out so I had to return to get my hair rinsed more. I do not let my hair cut, my hair is too dark, and the "dripping color" tinted my forehead, my neck (where it looked like I had a hickie), and ruined my work clothes. I was charged 180.00 plus tip for all of this. I am disappointed at Samsara; Alex is a nice girl but when you pay for a service, especially how much it cost at Samsara, you expect good quality. The total bill actually for me since my clothes were ruined was 180.00 + tip + work clothes + stained skin is more than I bargained for yesterday. I am sorry I have to complain but I wanted to express my disappointment.

As noted, because you have been such a long-time guest at our salon, as well as Ashley having been part of our team, you know you are not describing our signature guest experience. We are disappointed not to have learned of your experience directly and immediately, knowing we would love the opportunity to make things right. In addition, you regularly see a seasoned stylist with 20 years of experience. This visit was with our newest talent, Alex, who is working her way through strengthening her skills behind the chair. We take great pride in her level of service and talent at this stage of her career.
