I absolutely love Dr Walker. She's amazing so kind and caring and truly listens to what you have to say.
I really wanted to have a good experience here, but the doctor did not follow informed consent procedures. I had no idea what was going to happen, or why, and left feeling like he didn't care about my holistic wellbeing, just getting his work done.
My experience has been good over all. I always get appointments when I need to and my doctor makes time for me when I ask for it. Just a couple things I don't like and we're making things difficult. The first thing was they changed my doctor after my second appointment. I liked my first doctor a lot. And they switched me to a male doctor which I specified in my first appointment that I only wanted a female doctor. They did switch me back to a female doctor eight away. The second issue was my Tylenol. I had discussed with Dr Richards my headaches. She said just keep taking my Tylenol and I'll be fine. When I requested a refill it was denied. I've called them today to figure it out but have not heard back yet. I've had to wait for my pharmacy to send a fax them to communicate with my doctor and then make another call. It's been four days now I wake up with massive headaches. It's really not pleasant. There needs to be more communication between staff on what's discussed in the appointments or thing written down so there isn't this kind of issue. Thank you.
Overall visit was good. It seems to be a trend with many doctors' offices that they have you fill out paperwork listing your history and symptoms and "bring a list of your medications" yet they never read it and the nurse will ask again, then the doctor asks again. It's a bit frustrating but this seems to happen with most doctors though so I guess it's just how it is.
The front desk staff was nice and the doctor was straight forward and official.
