Began an emergency root canal at another dental clinic where the procedure was expected to be spread out over several sessions over several weeks. Once the first stage was complete I was sent home to wait two weeks with a temporary cap and razor sharp edges where it had been prepped for a crown. I set up an appointment to finish the root canal with Affinity, my normal dentist. The most important thing to understand is that as they were performing the root canal my crown was being milled out in the back of the office. This meant no wait time between root canal and crown. They slotted me for 3 hours but finished up in around 2 hours. Post-procedure I've no pain, and only slight discomfort as the ligaments holding my tooth calm down. Just awesome.
