AWD folks get my repeat business because they do their best to accommodate my requirements into scheduling appointments for work I need done, never fail to give me a detailed description of what they propose to do before doing it, and often save me substantial sums on repairs that are required on my Subarus, a 2007 WRX and a 2008 Outback XT. What's more, the guys who schedule the work are fun to talk with.

High pressure to use them to do a repair I can do myself. Paperwork also noted several "recommended services" that supposedly were discussed and that I declined - which were not discussed. I may not go back considering these things.

That was certainly not my intent. My goal is to make sure that you understand the repairs needed, and the importance of prioritizing some items over others. When your vehicle is in the shop our Technician will perform a courtesy inspection, during that inspection the Technician noticed some items that need attention with some of those items being safety concerns. I brought this to your attention, and you mentioned that you were already aware of the issues on your vehicle, and kindly declined further discussion. The paper work merely shows our obligation to let you know of the services or repairs needed in writing so you could reference those with your father as you said he typically made the repairs to your vehicle.

We are a little confused about how you felt there was high pressure at the same time that we didn?t go over anything?

I apologize about your experience, and hope you are able to get the issues with your Outback resolved.

A thorough analysis, including a test drive, was quickly performed. The cost for the analysis was very fair. Luckily the analysis indicated no issues found.
