Tino, our sincere apologies for your dissatisfaction with your experience with Arise. We make every effort to inform our customers about anticipated charges before the service call and during the call. Apparently our technician may not have been as clear in explaining the cost associated with a forced thaw of your frozen AC unit and the cost to add refrigerant. Our office staff clearly explains the service call fee on each phone call to schedule a service call. This service call fee includes travel and diagnostic time. Repair/remediation time is part of our flat rate repair billing. Fortunately, our service technician was able to force thaw your system rather quickly (less than one hour) and get your system up and running for you again. Had it taken more time, the charge would have been the same since our billing is based on flat rate. We hope this clarifies your concerns about the repair charges you incurred.
