John and Julie have been helpful and professional every time we have contacted them, whether it be for issues related to weekly service or a major project. When we recently did a re-plaster and tile job, they kept us informed of the progress all along the way, and they got it done very quickly. HIGHLY recommend them!

Our pool needed to be re-plastered and we wanted to get it done before a big party we were hosting. John and Julie helped get that done in less than a week. The pool was a focal point for our outdoor party and it looked brand new! The only question we asked ourselves was why we didn't do this sooner.

We have been Artesian customers for some 3 years now, and have been very satisfied with both the weekly pool cleaning service and the repair, maintenance and check-up service that we have had....very responsive, high quality service provided by qualified and friendly staff, at very reasonable prices....earlier this year there were a few months when service was not as good as we had become accustomed to...but Johnny and Troy recognized that and were on top of it...service is once again superb!

One caution...the current service contract states that when weekly service falls on a legal holiday, Artesian will skip the service that week. With that in mind, my "in a heartbeat" recommendation does NOT hold for Monday service...with Memorial Day, Labor Day, and this year, Independence Day, and the forthcoming Christmas and NewYear's(which actually fall on Sunday, but Monday is the Legal Holiday), we have had to (and will have to) go 2 weeks without service far too many times. (Don't know if Artesian will "be" celebrating Columbus Day this year on Monday, October 10...hope not!) I have brought this issue up with Artesian staff, and am hopeful they will formally address it in the near future.

Absolutely the best in service. Recently had a leak and I was out of town. No sooner than I called them they were addressing the issue with my housesitter and had it fixed the very next day. Very reliable and affordable.

Service needs to provide alternatives when equipment breaks down (pool vacuum) and repair is not done in a timely manner. A substitute vacuum should be available or they should provide additional visits to keep pool usable. In addition, last scheduled service left debris in the pool.

I experienced a decline in the service level I received over a period of several months: the system was left in service mode, the system controller’s door was left open, and cleaning/brushing was incomplete. The final event was an algae bloom that wasn’t handled well and left the pool unusable. During the bloom, I noted streaks in the pool from poor brushing (algae where the brush had missed). After the next service, I came home at 9:00 PM to the sound of the booster pump running without the cleaner (potentially causing damage), and no cleaner anywhere to be found. I notified the head of the service department, and, after a brief exchange, he rudely and abruptly cancelled my service. The next morning, I located the cleaner near the garbage area. It was missing a wheel.

The head of the service department is difficult to reach, slow to respond and, at times, condescending. In my experience, he had little regard for the customer’s perspective. To abruptly cancel the service and leave me in a bind, with an algae bloom, without a cleaner, and with a possibly damaged booster pump, was beyond unprofessional.
