I was disappointed when I called first thing Monday at 8:00 am for an emergency visit and was told they had a full schedule and could not see my dog and I should call Urgent Care. No other options were given to me. So.... I refused to do that....why.... Ashland Animal is my dogs Vet. I keep up with all shots and yearly physicals. I was flexible and willing to wait till the following day.... if this was an after hours or weekend call, I absolutely would bring my pup to Urgent Care. Which I have done in the past. This was a call for a routine sick visit.......

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately we are a general practice and if our appointments are filled for the day we have to refer to urgent care or emergency hospitals for the best interest of the pet. If we have appointments available we are happy to book them. There are some wondeful urgent care facilities in the area for this purpose. Feel free to reach out with further questions 508-881-2400
