As a real estate agent I must rely on the service providers with whom I work to provide excellent service for my clients. Yesterday was a prime example of why I am grateful to the relationship I have established with Juany Cleaning Service. Upon arriving early in the morning to meet my buyer clients at a home on which they were closing, I discovered, in advance of my buyer's arrival, that the cleaning company (not Juany's) the seller had hired had done a terrible job. It was supposed to be a final clean however it was horrible. There was old food in the refrigerator, the refrigerator was filthy, the oven had not been cleaned, the carpet had not been vacuumed, the baseboards were dirty...I could go on an on. I was panicked. My buyer clients were arriving, moving to Austin from out of state, after a three week road trip combining vacation with travel to Texas with their two young children and two dogs, living in a camper all that time. They would arrive to do their final walk through prior to closing on their "new" home and would be greeted by an unacceptable situation. I did the first thing that came to mind and sent a "911" type of message to Juany Cleaning Service, explained the predicament, and in their usual top notch customer service, they moved the schedule around for a couple of their cleaning teams so a team could be at the house making the house move-in ready so we could still close at the appointed time. It was quite a miracle, actually. The seller felt terrible and kindly offered to pay for this additional cleaning (most grateful to them!) and also grateful to Juany for making this exception and giving such quick response. I was able to tell my buyer clients before they walked in the door that we had the situation under control and the house would be cleaned properly. Thanks to Juany Cleaning Service I was able to avoid a possible delay in closing, keep the lovely buyer family happy, provide the kind of customer service I would want to receive myself if the shoe was on the other foot, and ultimately made a huge positive difference in a number of people's lives that day. Thank you Juany and your top notch team. By the way, I hope to never need to put you and any of your cleaning teams through all that crisis management mode situation again!
