The Aveda Fredric's Institute was founded to create some of the most successful entrepreneurs in hair, skin and nail esthetics, makeup and total body wellness. Our students are educated by accomplished professionals, using innovative curriculums that blend professional techniques with retail and business-building skills. The Aveda Fredric's Institute emphasizes personal well-being as well as environmental responsibility. Using Aveda pure flower and plant essences and plant-based products, we affirm the relationship between personal beauty, wellness and the environment. This was by far one of the worse experience I have had Aveda. The Student did not at any point during my visit as me about my feedback on the style I wanted. Didn't even initiate a conversation, usually the students are very nice and caring. Towards the end the only conversation she had with me was, I am going to get products and blow dry and finish. To which I said, I dont use products so no products please. At that point she gave me a blank stare and said well WHY NOT. I said I just dont use Products can you just blow dry, she again stares and said Why dont you use products. As a Customer I have the right to refuse products in my own hair, I shouldn't be Starred at or have eyes rolled at me. Being a Hair Stylist is not just about cutting hair, its about building client relationship, etiquette and making your client feel Great. That's something that needs to be taught in school to.

My stylist Susanna was excellent stylist in so many ways.
she was personalble and colored my hair so well. She listened to what I asked for and exceeded my expections when I saw the completed look. The instructors were right there to assist in each step and I will recommend Aveda to my friends. I will definitely be back for a root touch up and request Susanna for sure.
She also gave me a hand massage, mini facial and makeup touch up and suggested products for future use. Thanks Susanna you are the best!
