I like the service at Beauty Salons of America Dadeland. It was very Above Average. I went there in an emergency. Because there was no place open when I need to go. I worked out well with my work schedule. But I found the service quite a bit on the expensive side. I am under the understanding that the staff that works at Beauty Salons of American are not yet graduates of cosmetology. So they should not be charging such exorbitant fees. But otherwise very good service. Just a bit pricey!

Well, we visited the salon and spoke to a colorist in regards to getting an ombre hair color done.

We agreed on the price and I proceeded to his chair to get started. On the way there, I slipped and fell on my back and behind, wearing a dress, exposing everything to other customers, and landed pretty hard. The floor was very slippery due too another employee using too much hair spray to kill a bug (I was told). They never wiped it clean and the moment I walked over it, I fell. He (hair stylist) helped me up and I tried to regain my composure and asked me if I was ok. Although, I was not physically injured, I was quite shaken and a bit sore. I continued to get my hair style started and hoped for the best. My hair came out nice, but after a few days, I noticed that the ends of my hair had been damaged from the stripping they did. My original hair color was a dark brown and I wanted a redish-ombre look to the bottom tips of my hair. I was later told by another stylist that he should not have used a stripper for my ends. Anyway, I had to have about 4" of my hair cut off, in order to repair the splitting and dryness caused by this one-time visit. Also, the hair color did not last more than 3 weeks before it became dull and started to fade. Sadly, not the best salon I've been too, but the employees were very nice.
