The surgery experience was the most unpleasant of my life. The hospital was unprepared. The anesthesiologist gave me nothing to calm me until she put me under. The staff wheeled me into the operating cold sober. First time ever. Very unpleasant and unnecessary. Dr. Bitar did not complete the surgery per our extensive prior discussions, agreement, and documentation. He then denied that he didn't operate as agreed when it was completely obvious. The worst part of the whole experience is the lasting damage. I now have large, hard, lumpy, uneven scarring all over my abdomen. It has been nearly two years since my surgery. Naked, I am deformed. Dressed, I appear pregnant. The only possible solution I can think of is to go to a good doctor for surgery to remove the scarring from under my skin, if possible. I will try. Also, Dr. Bitar's negligence, narcissism, and inability to see or admit what is in front of his eyes is beyond annoying. Most recently, I went in for scar revision; he didn't fix the scar; and for lipo of my axilae. Clearly, the work was sloppy and more fat was removed from one side than the other. He didn't acknowledge it / pretended not to see it. Based on my abdominal experience, I said nothing. Just wanted to see if he recognized the uneven, unpleasant results. I really see no point in returning for follow ups anymore. They are pointless and yield no progress.
