I am very unsatisfied with the way I was treated, due to a problem with my dental insurance. I have dental insurance, and pay it every month, but was surprised when I received a bill. I contacted Blue Ridge Dentistry to try to figure out the problem and was treated as if I was lying about having insurance. I found the problem, my employer entered my info wrong TWICE! Blue Ridge was very rude to me and refused to resubmit my claim. All it took was a short phone call to my insurance company to file the claim. I will be looking for a new dentist.

We are sorry that you had such a difficult time with your employer providing your insurance with the proper information. After three unsuccessful attempts at submitting your claim, we had no alternative courses of action other than turning it over to you and your employer to get this issue resolved. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do in such a situation until your employer corrected the problem and you contacted the insurance company to fix the issue as well. We do apologize and are sorry that you felt our billing staff were being rude, we simply could not do anything else on our end.

The service was excellent. The technician that cleaned my teeth was very knowledgable and helped me understand what the next step would be. I am very pleased with how she handled everything.

I have insurance but upcoming bridge work not covered and I'm paying out of pocket when the bridge work is done. But it would be nice if I still got the "preferred rate" that insurance companies pay instead of the "office rate" which is higher. However I still prefer Dr. Molly over anyone else I've had in the past.

State of the art service with a smile. I walked in the door as a new patient and received an appointment for 2 hours later. Friendly administrative personnel and dental staff. They had new equipment and knowledgable employees.

I was disappointed with this last visit due to the emphasis of the hygienist on a past procedure that your business did not bill my insurance timely. This was not my fault but I heard about it the entire visit. Also the hygienist was very negative in that she basically told me I brushed all my gum tissue away. When I asked her if it was "all" gone, she said well on several teeth. She followed up by saying that it doesn't grow back. This bothered me and I have thought about it all weekend. The way she presented it caused me undo stress on something that could not be corrected. Also, the hygienist rushed through my cleaning so that she could go to lunch. I am only allotted one cleaning every six months and this was not professional behavior.

I know that we have contacted you offline to come in and have cleaning at no charge with a different hygienist. I've already recommended to some coworkers. Love being there! The staff members are very wonderful during procedures and processing. The patient can even watch TV while having work done or waiting. Blue Ridge Family Dentistry has definitely progressed since their move to the new location!

The staff is very good and helpful. I always learn when I come there.

The prices are high for prophys and I would rate the practice as "Excellent" if the price point was lower.

Kept waiting for 15 minutes. Also do not appreciate the frequency with which I have to complete paperwork when nothing has changed. This type of bureaucracy is totally unnecessary and wasteful. Otherwise the service is good.

Sorry you felt that your wait was not reasonable. We have noticed that patients scheduled at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm wait longer than those scheduled at 8:00 am and 1:00 pm. Unfortunately, updating paperwork, including health history, every year is a requirement set forward by the state department of health. It would be unfortunate for someone to have health complications due to us having outdated information.
