Buyer Beware_ No Cancelation policy under any circumstances. I had an unfortunate experience at Pearle Vision where I have been a customer for many years. Initially, I received very good service from the store owner and purchased a pair of glasses. I did not receive any documentation other than a credit card slip. Within the hour, I had second thoughts. The glasses were expensive and I was not in love with them. I called the store immediately to ask that they cancel my order before they began to craft the lenses. I was informed that only the store owner could make that decision and she was at lunch. To shorten the story, she never called me back, but rather had an employee call me back to say that the no cancellation policy was on a board by the register and on my documentation which I had not received.. I was offered an in store credit. I was dumbfounded. I am used to a higher level of customer service, especially since the cancellation was within the hour of purchase. I am resigned to having to buy the glasses, but I will get recommendations for another optical shop with more user friendly policies for the future.
