Just moved to Nevada/Vegas. Set up an appointment for our 6 month cleaning. Arrived 15 minutes early in case you had questions about all the paperwork we filled out. Half hour later, you asked for our Driver's Licenses to make more copies (You had made copies when we came in the first time...) Half hour after that, you tell us our appointment was canceled "late yesterday afternoon". Then you go out of your way to make it sound like it was all our fault? Just because we weren't home when you called? Why didn't you leave a message on our recorder?

Made another appointment, but were called back in the same day. Sat around for nearly another hour before being moved from one room to another (equipment wasn't functioning?) Eventually had more x-rays taken than I've ever had. Then the Dr says nearly all our prior dental work should be replaced. But, "NO" we can't have our teeth cleaned. Not until more paperwork is filled out...

Can't imagine ever going though this torture again.

I am so sorry that you did not have a good experience in our office. Unfortunately, I was not able to be in the office at the time you came in to welcome you. It does sound like there was a little miscommunication about your appointment on our end and I do apologize. It is never a patients fault that they did not receive a message we left, and you should never have been made to feel that way. It is our policy to ask our patients to come in 15 minutes early to fill out all paperwork in order to help with the appointment process, and we do try to accommodate cleaning being done at the first visit. However, this is not always the case. There are times when medical clearances are needed or there is periodontal disease and the cleaning takes quite a bit longer in which cases we would schedule you to come back when we have the time and or documents needed to ensure we can safely give our patients the care they deserve. I apologize that you were not shown the best that Aliante has to offer .
