After posting this review, our customer contacted us to discuss her yard. They are listed in the review as a customer since 2009, however our relationship goes back to 1999 when we installed and have been maintaining their yard ever since. Over the years a landscape grows and matures as a living ecosystem, requiring changes and adjustments to the maturing landscaping. Just one example is that trees grow and offer more shade, requiring that some of the flowers and shrubs be changed out for those that better handle the shade of mature trees.

We have made several recommendations that would address the changing conditions of their yard. These improvements are not a part of weekly maintenance services, and the customer had decided against moving forward with these recommendations. We are very understanding of their situation and are trying to work toward an affordable solution that will gradually help their yard transition into maturity.

Usually when we take on a new account, we like to perform an initial clean-up to get things looking good quickly and then maintain it from there. Sometimes for either the customer or the yard it is better to take things more slowly - as was the case for your yard.

We did have some trouble connecting with each other during this job. We contacted the owner and have resolved this matter with her. We always aim to leave every project with the customer satisfied, and she did the right thing by contacting us so we could make things right for her. We would much rather hear from an unsatisfied customer so we can work to resolve things than to have issues remain and not know about it.
