A very poor job was done at first. There was a hole in my roof from a limb coming through it after a storm. The "roofers" used thin OSB (7/16") to span between two rafters. The original roof had 3/4" (1x8 yellow pine boards). Also there were two layers of shingles on my roof, the whole roof had been shingled over last year. In the spot that was repaired they only put back one layer. As a result, from the ground I could see a depression where the work was done not to mention no effort was made to match the shingles they added to the existing shingles, even though I was told that there should not be a problem finding shingles to match, so there was also a very noticeable spot on my roof. After complaining about the substandard roof they came back out and re-repaired the spot. They did use heavier sheathing and put two layers back, although the ridge still looks a little wavy, however they used some leftover shingles that I had from the new roof as far as they would go, but still used mismatched shingles when those ran out. When I put the house up for sale will have to have those shingles match as it definitely draws the eye towards it and hurts the curb appeal. I was tired of dealing with it so I paid the bill to be done with it, but I definitely won't use Brighter Side Roofing again.
