A different experience than normal. Still good but not as good. The (new to me) assistant had a edge of sarcasm when interacting with me from time to time. I was given nitro mixed in with oxygen, but wasn't told what I should do with this device on my nose. So I asked to clarify what I presumed was required of me. The assistant asked me 'why do I normally get it', in a sarcastic tone. I explained my circumstance and informed her it was my first time. She apologized and stated she thought I would know what to do with it. Even when you get x-rays at the hospital the tech still goes through the whole procedure...what position you need to be in, hold your breathe, etc.
Later when I raised my hand to stop the procedure, because I needed to swallow, the assistant stated 'I'm trying my best!' again with a little attitude. Not sure if her comment was meant for me or the dentist working on my teeth. Now I felt like I needed to apologize to her and I did, but why did I need too?
The dentist and all other staff was very thorough and still will go back and recommend this practice to others. Just had a unusual/unexpected experience.
This is a good practice and have always been very professional. This might have been an isolated situation, and will not judge this incident on where or not I will return, because I will. But it is also a good lesson on perception and forgiveness.
