I am not at all happy with my experience there yesterday. I have had the growing feeling over the past year and half that all you guys really care about is getting as much money as possible out of each visit. I brought my dog in for diarrhea and ended up paying $330 for the visit. I feel like the Vet should have explained to me more clearly which were essential medications and which were not. I walked in expecting to pay the exam fee and maybe a fee for 1 medication and instead got much more than I bargained for --- this included purina brand probiotics which I'm sure I could find on amazon for much less money. My dog did not even have a diagnosis and the exam was incredibly cursory - I have also never had the experience there that the vet or vet technician does not even attempt to give my dog a treat to help calm her if she appears anxious. This is the last time I will be going to Campus Veterinary Clinic and I will also post a yelp review about this. It is simply ridiculous to have all these expensive meds pushed on you when it's not even clear what the dog is suffering from. Turns out, if I had just waited a day, I think she would have been fine as her system already seemed to be recovering from whatever caused the diarrhea in the first place. I feel like you are just trying to make as much money off each patient as possible, without regard to what is really essential for the pet's health and what is not. UNHAPPY customer
Hi Julianna- We're very sorry that your last visit didn't meet your expectations. The doctor left you a message to follow-up and discuss the diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Please know that we never force anything on our clients/patients. Our job is to provide the best treatment plan recommendations, and your job is to decide what course you would like to take. Please feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss this further. Thank you.
