Capital City Automotive is a full-service auto repair and preventive maintenance center. We have been performing our high quality and guaranteed auto repairs in the Olympia, Tumwater and Lacey area since 1954. We are conveniently located in the tri-city area and qualified to repair and service all domestic and imported cars, trucks, and SUVs. We only use parts that are equal to or exceed the standards of those parts originally used by the manufacturers. Have used Capital City Automotive for years. This time I took my very old car in to check out what was wrong. I feared for bad news - Mike confirmed my suspicions - transmission needed replacing. I ended up donating the car to charity. Lisa and Mike were great. They let me keep the car on the lot until the tow truck arrived to haul it away. My past experiences were not so traumatic - Capital City is close to our house, very convenient, and offer loaner cars if needed. Our family have used them for years. Service is good - they provide prompt feedback, service and repairs. Would recommend them.

Wish would of called if car needed antifreeze, 9 dollars a quart to me is exspensive.

When our customers bring a car in for a complete service we top off the fluids. We as professionals shouldn't let a vehicle out low on coolant should we? What would have happened if we did, your car overheated and your engine failed? Would you have blamed us for leaving your coolant low?
Your car takes a special coolant that is expensive. Not much we can do about that.
It's difficult in this business to meet everyone's expectations on what service consists of. For the majority of our customers topping off the coolant is a required expectation.
