United health care has dropped you from its providers and you didn't let me know. I no longer have coverage for office visits or new glasses

I called for a simple repair on a pair of sunglasses I'd purchased a few years back. I was directed to Jenny who was very eager and thorough in helping me with what I needed. She returned a phone call in the same day with the information I was looking for and invited me to stop in to have my glasses fixed with the correct replacements needed in stock. I waited a very short time while they fixed them, it was inexpensive, and I was on my way. Always happy with the friendly service provided, thank you!

Cascade Eye Center refuses to fill prescriptions they write if children are on Medicaid insurance knowing full well that no other optical department or clinic will fill their prescriptions. If you have Medicaid make sure to ASK the clinic if they will fill the eye glasses at their facility..maybe get it in writing as well. Otherwise its out of pocket online ordering. Make sure THE OPTICIAN OR OPTHAMOLOGIST writes the PD number on the prescription, you will need that to order online. Yes, this place has taught me a lot. Shame on them for being dishonest up front! Oh, and if you don't have them write the PD number when you first get the paper precription, they will make you sign a waiver saying they are not financially responsible, since you are basically creating your own glasses online. Cascade Eye Center also billed Medicaid for a medical exam without dilating the children's eyes. I hope this helps someone else. This was an eye opening experience for me...excuse the pun.
