I just moved to GE and this was my first salon to try for a new sylist. I loved the stylist Michelle. I thought she was very hospitable and professional. She listened to what I wanted and made appropriate recommendations. I would give her 5 stars.
However, the receptionist is where improvement is needed. Especially being this is the first line of service. When I called I was put on hold multiple times - only one of which I think was regarding service. I say this because when I arrived and sat in the waiting area she took multiple personal calls. I was not greeted when I walked in - but had to walk up to the counter and tell her I was there for my appointment. To which she then put her personal call on hold and went back and notified my stylist. On her return she told her call she'd have to call her back. Once off the phone she just sat there. She did not offer to hang up my coat. She did not offer me a drink. She did nothing. I strolled around the waiting area and found where to hang up my coat and served myself a beverage. In this competive market customer service in the front is key. Where I came from any salon/spa I went to greeted you as you walked-in the door, offered to hang your coat, offered you a beverage - water, coffee, etc...and checked you in. And when you left got you your coat etc. While the stylists themselves are probably outstanding the front desk needs ALOT of work!
