Both of my children had a positive experience last week, as they each had their first cleaning with this office. It was the first dental experience for my youngest child. Dr. Niang was wonderful with her, showing her (with demonstrations) how "Mr. Thirsty" worked (little air suction hose) and even allowed her to use the device on a small cup of water repeatedly. Each tool was calmly and playfully introduced to her before the exam began. While my youngest daughter was hesitant to lay on the chair flat on her back (kind of a vulnerable position for anyone) Dr. Niang and Liria, (Dental Assistant) worked with her playfully until she felt comfortable doing so. She could not have had a more relaxing, calm and age appropriate experience at a dentist. Dr. Niang really does have a gift in working with children. An Orthodontist works in tandem with Dr. Niang, which will come in handy when my oldest needs braces in a few years. iPads in the lobby loaded with appropriate apps were a great distraction for my girls. The TV in each room and lobby played Disney movies. Miuriel in the front office was delightful to interact with and was kind enough to research "laughing gas" emailing me a link to also look into it as we considered using it for a visit to complete some dental work on my oldest.

Fun little gifts were given to each child for visiting. Anything to make going to the dentist fun, is a plus!

**Second Visit: My eldest returned yesterday, a week after her cleaning, to get some work completed. She was a bit nervous initially but was again set at ease by chatting it up with Dr. Niang and Liria in-between and during the procedures. We opted not to use the laughing gas, and she still came out smiling! The staff is just excellent with kids. So glad we found them.
