Christian Brother's have always operated with the highest level of integrity. A lot of auto repair places seem predatory, but not Christian brothers. Donnie, I think he's the service manager, is one of the most genuine and sincere people I've ever met. He always tries to set clear expectations when the work will be done and is very communicative and friendly. He's always a pleasure to deal with, no matter how busy they are. Honestly, while I like Christian Brothers - Donnie is the reason I keep coming back. Where ever he goes, I'll be sure to follow. I've been going there for probably 13 years. Back when I had an unreliable car, he helped me get it up to snuff and do a cost benefit to find out the repairs I could afford. He worked with me on payment and gave me discounts. Compassion is a rare thing in business and it deserves to be rewarded.
There are so many positive things I can say - so I'll just let you assume that everything is exemplary but one thing - because the quality of work is always good and their prices are competitive, sometimes there's a long wait. It's expected with any successful business, but I think they're worth it.
Finally, if you're not a Christian - don't let the name scare you off. As a non-theist myself - I've never gotten any churchy vibe or anything like that at all. They're just nice inclusive people that do good work. I recommend every I know to them, especially to Donnie. Most people have their own mechanic they trust, and that's cool - but if you're a "refugee" so to speak" - Donnie and Christian Brothers are definitely the place to go.
(FootNote): They also refer to upstanding business. At one point I was having catalytic converter problems and they referred me to Pronto Muffler. I was expecting a huge estimate from Pronto Muffler, but they said they couldn't find anything wrong. Rather than take me for a ride, they also operated with integrity). I really can't say enough about how good of a place this is. I almost don't want to move since they're so close..
