Absolutely thrilled with the office! The doctor and staff, from the initial point of contact at reception to the finalization at billing is fantastic. The staff, from Frankie, Gigi, Emily, Angela, Chanel, Lucy, to Desiree, and of course, Dr. Roxanne Achong-Coan, is warm and welcoming and great with my children. The staff worked diligently to assist with new insurance processing, 2 children's appts., and a CRT consultation which was a welcome option to my daughter dealing with a progressively worsening RX at a young age. The office is beautiful, clean, and stocked with a nice selection of frames. We felt confident that at all stages, our questions and concerns were answered quickly & efficiently. Overall, very pleased!

Dr. Achong is the best. Seriously... If you are looking for a caring, competent and dedicated eye Doc, call them and make an appt.

I waited an hour from the appointment time before I was taken in. To me this is not acceptable. If I was an hour late I would have lost my appointment. Staff was a little too pushy about buying glasses. I have VSP so they expected me to buy new glasses when I didn't need them. I the past the staff hasn't been this pushy. I don't like this change.

I have been going to Coan eye care since I was a teenager and I have always had a good experience. The only reason for knocking off a star is because they lost my appointment and I had to wait an additional 35 minutes, which was difficult because I was taking time from work to be there.

That said, this was my first time seeing Dr. Soble. He was great. I feel very confident with what he told me. I would refer this office to anyone looking for eye care.

First of all, I made an appointment online. Within a few days, I received a phone call and an email that my appointment was confirmed. When I arrived, I was told that I didn't have an appointment. No biggie, maybe I misunderstood, so I rescheduled for two days later, but asked the young man to check your system as I was sure the messages said my appointment was confirmed. Anyways, my new appointment was at 8:15am. I looked at frames while I waited and picked a few. One of the staff was very helpful and I was called back at 8:30am. The tech was very nice and thorough, but after she left, I sat in the room for at least a half hour waiting for the doctor. I went to the front desk and asked if they had forgotten me. She said surely they had not and she stepped to the back so I went back to the exam room. Fifteen minutes went by so I went out front again. The same girl stepped to the back to check while several other staff saw how upset I was when I voiced that I had been waiting for 45 minutes. Other customers heard me, too. I went back to the exam room and stood outside, expecting someone from up front to at least come and tell me what was going on. No one came so I stopped another tech in the hall who actually went to talk to the doctor. She told me he would be right in. Dr. Coan came in and apologized. I know he could see how upset I was. I told him not to rush now and he did a thorough exam. Unfortunately, I did not have time to choose my frames as I had to get to work. I had spent two hours in the office and didn't get to work until 10:30am. I work in Human Resources dealing with benefits and insurance. I have referred many of my team members to your office, but I'm not so sure I can do that anymore. My husband is due for an appointment soon and we'll see how his goes before I make anymore referrals.
