After struggling to cure Toe Nail Fungus on the large toes of each foot for 4 years with an arsenal of treatments, it was indicated last Fall that the fungus was essentially gone. I continued to use the Naftin ointment periodically over the ensuing months but have no recollection of further guidance as to treatment. It was disappointing at this follow up visit months later to learn that the fungus had recurred on the right foot and was marginal on the left. It was further noted that I also (now) had developed Athlete's Foot which was a potential source of the fungus.
I was told to resume the Naftin treatment twice a day and to begin a cream for Athlete's Foot twice daily.
Having successfully overcome both Type II Diabetes and high Cholesterol with a combination of life style changes and medication, which in both cases has been reduced or totally eliminated, I consider myself an excellent patient with regard to following doctor recommendations so am a bit upset by the relapse which potentially could have been avoided.
