CrossFit Durham is Durham's premier Strength and Conditioning Gym. Our workouts vary from day to day and are made up of weightlifting, gymnastics, running, plyometrics, kettlebells, sandbags and other functional movements. Our program is suitable for all fitness levels. Beginner to advanced athletes will experience a challenging, functional and fun workout every session.

We prefer to have athletes ready to go so we can put our time emphasis on the skill, strength, and WOD portions of each class, but agree that Coaches should still be leading some sort of group warmup. As for running workouts, although we do them VERY infrequently, these do have a place in CrossFit. Look no further than the CF Games or crossfit.com.

Thanks for the feedback, Matt! We're surprised about that too, but to date we've had little to no demand for that time slot and our 8:30am WOD is the smallest of all of our daily workouts.

Thanks for the feedback! While everyone here is encouraged to push hard and work to their limits, we place a heavy emphasis for everyone on scaling to their appropriate fitness level and not getting hurt. You can definitely over do it, as in all sports and exercise.
