I was asked to pay upfront and after waiting almost an hour I was told that I could either wait another 30-45 minutes or come back another day. When I came back , after the service I found that my out of pocket was 25$ less than what I had paid upfront, but they refused to return. I got my Explanation of benefits from my insurance, and called them that I am still owed the $25 over charged, and they say it could take another 2 weeks to get their EOB and after that another few weeks for the refund. What a pain, if only I knew they would treat a customer this bad.
We always try to estimate our patients' out of pocket as accurately as possible and if any discrepancies arise as soon as we receive the payment and EOB from the insurance company we immediately begin a refund process if appropriate. We apologize for any inconvenience and rest assured we will work with you to resolve this matter.
