The cleaning went as expected and there were no issues. When it came time for the dentist to take a look she wasn't there. I was informed that her earlier appointment cancelled and she wouldn't be in until later that morning. The hygienist told me I could wait until the dentist got in if I wanted. I was taken aback by this information since being a client, it's pretty unreal a dentist wouldn't make it a priority to see all customers as part of the service they provide. I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Loyalty to customers is important. If you aren't going to make me a priority or even care to show up when I'm scheduled I will choose another dentist that will.
Jessica - we apologize for any misunderstanding at your last visit. Dr. Dever starts her first appointment of the day at 9 am, while the hygienist who is certified to work independently is able to start her first appointment at 8:30 for patient convenience. Since your appointment went quickly, Dr. Dever arrived just a few minutes after you left. She normally checks all of the first hygiene patients right as she starts at 9 am and was surprised that she missed you. We understand your concerns and will utilize your feedback to ensure other patients scheduling for an 8:30 time slot understand this. We would welcome your return if you reconsider your decision to leave the practice but wish you the best wherever you go.
