Now, I understand there is no way to monitor every dog 24/7. However. I picked up Thoron on Sunday after a 4-day boarding, and after he got over his "happy-to-see-you" wiggles it was immediately and obviously clear that he was in severe pain. He had licked his scrotum RAW during his stay at DogiZone, and somehow nobody noticed?! How is that possible when he was struggling to walk straight and to eliminate?? If someone did notice, I was NOT informed. I even paid for extra interaction time each day to ensure he wouldn't be ignored.
That same day I took him to an emergency veterinary clinic where he was assessed and prescribed treatment that will need to be continuously administered for two weeks to help him heal. He is still in serious pain and discomfort.
I would very much like to speak to management and to a caretaker who had regular interaction with Thorin.
I cannot in good faith recommend DogiZone boarding services. Perhaps my dog needs more attention than they are able to provide, as he has some mild separation anxiety.
