Yesterday was my first appointment. Dr. Martin and her staff are all personable, professional, and wildly helpful. I am instilled with hope and confidence for my first pregnancy. I couldn’t have asked for a better overall first experience.

Dr Martin and her staff were amazing throughout my entire pregnancy and delivery. I would definitely recommend her and will be returning if/when I become pregnant again!

I waited with no clothes on under a gown for almost 40mins in the room to see Dr Martin all for her to spend less than 5 minutes with me. I don’t feel like she truly cares to listen and hear how I am doing. She did what she needed to do and left.

Front desk is always friendly when i come in but Dr Martins nurse or medical assistant could use some personality. You could tell she didn’t want to be there . Dr Martin is great but seemed like she was in a hurry. Not that i need a long drawn out appt for an annual, but i didn’t feel like i did at my very first visit.

Very unprofessional. Stated she doesn’t like kids let alone her own. Has you waiting for 2+ hours to be seen. Doesn’t know your chart when you come in. Very to the point but doesn’t seem to be personable. Has to many patients and can’t find a balance. Worked for many doctors over the years and didn’t think she would be that one doctor that doesn’t seem to care much. She cares more about money than your needs. Fort Sanders prenatal upstairs 4th floor is more attentive and very on time with patients. I never want to leave a bad review with a doctor but when you are pregnant it’s a whole different level of care you need. Pick the right doctor for you and your baby.

When I found out I was pregnant early October I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Martin as this was my first pregnancy and I read tons of great reviews from Dr. Martins office. I only knew I was pregnant for about 2 weeks before I suffered an early miscarriage. I changed my appointment from a pregnancy appointment to my annual exam. I also wanted to meet Dr. Martin and establish a relationship for any future pregnancies and see what I needed to do moving forward after my miscarriage. The receptionist was very friendly! (I didn’t catch her name but it started with “Sh”.) I filled out paperwork, gave a urine sample and was called back. The nurse who took my weight & blood pressure was rude and not welcoming at all. This is when I learned that they did not have me scheduled for an annual exam but for a “gyno problem”. Which is fine, but I was still hoping for an exam, just to make sure that I had no underlying issues or cause for concern as I had just miscarried. I had ALSO already paid my copay of $40 for this visit in which I thought was going to be an exam AND to talk with the doctor. Dr. Martin came in to meet me and we chatted for a few minutes. We discussed prenatal vitamins, when to start trying again for another baby, etc. she was with me for about 10 minutes, told me to manage my weight, (I am 5’4, 160 pounds), keep taking my prenatals and I was good to go. I left with no more knowledge than I came in with and no more insight than I could have gotten from google. Overall not a great experience. I will probably be finding another doctor for future pregnancies.

I have received phenomenal care from Dr. Martin and her staff. She has went above and beyond to care from me and all of my needs. She is very attentive to details and explains everything to a personal level. Dr. Martin as well as the staff is always extremely welcoming and friendly. I will always use Dr. Martin and I highly recommend her to everyone!

After going through trust issues with a lot of doctors, Dr. Martin has went above and beyond to make sure I feel safe and trust her. She has made this pregnancy way less stressful by being honest with me and making me understand that she has my back. We are about to move to Nashville and I honestly can say I will try to have my next baby with her and drive the 2 1/2 hours because she truly is the best doctor I have ever had. Very very pleased. Recommend her 100%
