In about an hour, Dr. Smolen replaced the enamel on two of my molars and fixed a cavity. I could feel my lower lip a few hours later as Dr. Smolen predicted, and my teeth and bite felt the same - so it was as if no work had been done. Nice!
This was also my first experience with what I think he called the "tooth DAM", which isolated the teeth being worked on from the rest of my mouth. So, for the first time, I had no saliva to swallow for the entire time he worked on my teeth. Of course, I have come to expect things like this from Dr. Smolen, since he stays current with any technology that helps his patients.
His office staff also operates like a well oiled machine, since he reviews all the scheduled patients with them each morning. My stess level drops as soon as I walk in the door, because the entire staff always seem like they are having a good time.
