We are proud to have the latest state-of-the-art vision computers while experiencing the "old fashioned way" of treating our patients like family. These vision computers help take the guess-work out of "which looks clearer" when going through a thorough eye examination. We look forward to the opportunity to serving your family's optometric needs.
Laraine Viviani, O.D. (Doctor of Optometry) performs a complete eye examination and visual analysis as well as treating many eye problems as glaucoma, dry eyes, conjunctivitis and more. She also evaluates patient's eyes for possible lasik surgery and performs all the pre-op and post-op care for lasik patients.
In our Optometric office, we specialize in custom fitting the difficult astigmatic and bifocal contact lens wearer. Our on site optical lab can make glasses within a short period of time. The latest type lenses and specialty coatings will be explained by our expert optician before any eyeglasses are fabricated. Polarized lenses are available to help prevent eye damage from the sun. Safety glasses and Rex Specs for athletic use are now available in prescriptions.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Viviani since getting married 16 years ago. There is no better doctor, service or office, anywhere on Long Island! There have been times of concern that Dr. Viviani referred us to specialists and these referrals have always been spot on. Thank goodness there have never been any severe problems.
I also love the selection of frames in the office in Melville. Of course, we would each trust Dr. Viviani with our life so, yes!, we give a ten recommendation!

I was so happy with my visit The exams that were preformed so well done and informative on my health it gave me peace of mind and also things to be aware of. The ladies that helped me with choosing my glasses and sunglasses encouraged me to try different styles and colors that were out of my box. But I was so happy I went with their suggestions and I’m actually excited about getting my new glasses. Coming to the office was nice to see everyone again like family
